On August 21 and 22, 2024, a two-day session on 7QC tools was conducted with the goal of providing the staff with lean tools to improve the process and product quality and productivity.
The workshop commenced with establishing the expectations. After the Head of Plant Operations discussed his insights and experiences, the subject matter expert gave a quick orientation. The two-day program was divided into two sections: foundation and advanced training, which ensured the correlation between the practical applicability of the concepts and the ground level challenges. This contributed to improving conceptual clarity and providing a comprehensive understanding of the tool’s application.
At the end of the workshop, the participants were segregated into small focus groups and assigned them a 2-3 month project to boost their skills and efficiency.
