We held the third session of our managers’ leadership development program on August 23, 2024. This session covered the essential elements of managerial effectiveness and the crucial success criteria for being a successful manager.
The recent session revolved around resource management (the art of delegation), creating a collaborative work environment, and trust and accountability (both within and between teams). To help the managers better handle the day-to-day functional difficulties, each segment of the session comprised scenario-based critical thinking sessions, case-based gamification, and many mock-ups.
The Managing Director, Mr. U S Murthy spoke to all of the managers on the importance of effective management to the success of the organization. He referred to the attendees as “Future Leaders” in the making and expressed his belief that these leaders will soon raise the organization to even greater heights. He also mentioned how important a leader’s thinking is to the success of the company. The leader ought to be eager to pick up new skills and possess a strong desire to learn new things.
The Head of HR Ms. Malati also underlined the significance of leadership abilities and their influence on contemporary company dynamics in the same vein. Additionally, she said that workers glance up to their supervisors, who served as their mentors and coaches, as a source of guidance.
Upon completion of the training, the participants were required to prepare a presentation outlining their important takeaways, areas of improvement gained, and future directions, all while connecting these points to their KPIs and KRAs.
